currently my underwater photo equipment is not very good, but I still take pictures untill I can afford a better one.

"Don't Panic! It used to be called Fisherman's Cove and sharks, fortunately, have never been seen here. This is a spectacular cove on the Akrotiri Peninsula with a submerged tunnel which starts and ends the dive. The dive takes you along a cliff face before circling a rocky reef bottom."

Panagia Podithou

One of Unesco's cyprus churches.
Located at Galata. It is a remnant of a small monastery which today does not exist. The temple is built in the middle of an elongated valley near the river banks of the river Klarios .
 Built in 1502 by Dimitrios de - Coron and his wife Helen.

The Tremithos Ai Giorkas ( in the Cypriot dialect ) as it is called by residents , is located in the picturesque village Apaisia ​​, the southern slopes of the Troodos Mountains a short distance from Limassol . 
The Tremithos (Pistacia Atlantica, Pistakia the Atlantic ) , belongs to the family of Anacardiaceae. The beautiful and mighty tree is now the oldest resident of Cyprus (My note: I believe there are much older trees in Cyprus, just not dated yet) and stands proudly for 1,500 years . It is literally a miracle of nature , and was able to grow in a mountainous region , surviving in a harsh landscape , geologically part of the sedimentary sequence of the Troodos and consists mainly of rocky and calcareous soils ( chalk , marl , calcareous sandstones ) , while climatic accepts average annual rainfall.
For the conditions under which it managed to survive the centuries-old tree , our enlightenment Mr. Costas Papacharalambous former commune of the village , who spoke of the existence of running water at shallow depth below the ground surface. Another element that enhances what Mr Costas about the existence of water , is the ancient fragments found at a distance of several meters from an ancient tree in the courtyard of the elementary school built in 1911 and close to the position which is the watermill of the village and the church of St. Giorkas . The ancient ruins are what remains of an ancient building in this area and suggest that our ancient ancestors erected temples and shrines close to sources or places with running water .
